Purpose of the Project
Forest protection must be connected with real solutions to hunger, soil restoration, and creating stable resources for local communities.
Hunger is Stronger than Ban
Protecting forests in Africa can be ensured only under conditions of eliminating hunger. This can be achieved by introducing sustainable forestry and agricultural practices. Administrative bans on further burning of forests will never be effective, as hunger and the struggle for survival will always be stronger.
